Swindon Advertiser:

One to watch - Devon Kelly-Evans

Alongside twin brother Dion, Kelly-Evans has come through the Sky Blues’ academy to represent the club at every level.

He made his full league debut in Saturday’s home clash against then-league leaders Exeter City and had the desired impact, notching the clinching second goal for City in injury time of the 2-0 triumph.

The youngster had only started the game after Stuart Beavon suffered an injury in the pre-match warm-up.

The 20-year made his professional debut as a substitute in August 2015 in an EFL Cup defeat to Norwich City.

After an impressive start to the 2016/17 campaign for the U23s, Kelly-Evans spent the final part of the season on loan at local side Nuneaton Town.

Key battle - Chris Hussey v Jodi Jones

TRICKY winger Jones was the architect of City’s 2-0 win over Exeter on Saturday and has made a fine start to the season for the Ricoh Arena side.

Jones was involved in both goals at the weekend, supplying the cross that was turned into his own net by Grecians defender Troy Brown before making the run that set up the second for Devon Kelly-Evans to score on his full league debut Jones penned a four-year deal with the Sky Blues in May 2016, keeping him at the club until 2020 after impressing during a loan spell in the West Midlands from Dagenham & Redbridge and scored a hat-trick against now-leaders Notts County on the opening day.
