Adver Sport hand out their verdict on Swindon Town's 2-1 defeat at home to Coventry City.
Lawrence Vigouroux - 7.5
Not much the Swindon stopper could have done about either goal, but looked a little less assured than normal.
Ben Purkiss – 7
A solid if unspectacular game from the defender who did well up against Jodie Jones.
Chris Robertson - 6.5
Lucky not to give away a penalty in the first half but rallied well in the second despite pressure from the away supporters.
Olly Lancashire -7.5
Another one who didn’t have a standout game at the heart of Town’s defence. Tried his luck upfront late on.
Matt Taylor – 6.5
Struggled at left-back in the opening 45 minutes of the game, however was far more reliable in the second period and distributed much better.
James Dunne -6
Was having a good game before the sending off, which eventually saw the game slip away from the hosts.
Timi Elsnik - 7.5
The Derby loanee is still growing into the team and produced a decent display alongside Dunne. Subbed.
Kellan Gordan – 8
Was a constant threat and gave good width to Town’s attack, his cross lead to Town’s strike. Subbed.
Paul Mullin – 6.5
Not the greatest game from the striker who didn’t really make his mark on proceedings. Subbed.
Keshi Anderson – 7.5
Showed flashes of what he is capable of and could have been on the scoresheet early on. Booked.
Luke Norris - 8.5
Again, Town’s best player, worked hard and scored a fantastic goal. Booked.
Amine Linganzi (for Elsnik 66’) – 6
Didn’t really have much of an impact but was always going to struggle with Town being outnumbered in midfield.
Harry Smith (on for Gordon 81) – 7
Made a real nuisance of himself during the time he was on and it often took two defenders to compete with his presence.
Donal McDermott (for Mullin 59’) -7
Did himself no damage with his showing from the bench and put in a shift following Dunne’s dismissal.
Unused substitutions:
Reice Charles-Cook, Kaiyne Woolery, Matt Preston and Kyle Knoyle
