COVENTRY started the match with great enthusiasm, having had two great chances.
Maxime Biamou missed a one-on-one but Laurence Vigouroux superbly saved it. Vigouroux then saved a flick-on from Biamou moments later.
Town scored through a stunning volley from in-form Luke Norris, taking them into the lead.
This didn’t last long as Coventry skipper Michael Doyle scored due to poor Town defending.

Town started the second half with some disappointing decisions made all round. Time went by with Coventry still dominating the game.
In the 72nd minute, Robins player James Dunne was shown a red card for a retaliation to a challenge.
One extra man certainly made a difference to the match, with Coventry scoring a goal four minutes after the dismissal through Duckens Nazon’s excellent finish.
Full-Time - Swindon Town 1 Coventry City 2
Man of the match went to Luke Norris yet again after scoring Town's only goal of the evening. This has taken his tally to seven goals so far this season.
After watching Friday’s match on television against Forest Green Rovers, I am disappointed in the performance.
There were some poor refereeing decisions, however, Town lacked a killer instinct particularly in the final third.
