LINCOLN started the first 10 minutes with majority of the possession, during this period of time they had two clear chances with Matty Taylor having to clear the ball off the line during the third minute.

Five minutes later Michael Bostwick hit a firm drive forcing Swindon goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook to dive down to the right corner to make a save.

During the 26th minute Taylor whipped in a free kick from the left-hand side which skipper Olly Lancashire headed over.

HALF-TIME SWINDON TOWN 0-0 LINCOLN CITY

Two minutes in to the second half, Taylor drilled a decent free kick just wide of the near post.

Minutes later Town striker Luke Norris lashed a shot with great determination and desire which went just wide of the top corner.

Town dominated the second half with numerous chances but they failed to convert.

During the 66th minute Town right-back Ben Purkiss threw himself on the line to put a stop to a dangerous Lincoln counter attack.

Town were then handed an opportunity from a free kick taken by Taylor, but it just went over the bar.

Then Lincoln's Sean Raggett scored following a corner taken on the right.

Personally, I think Town were a little disappointing following their exciting win over Steve Evans’ Mansfield at the weekend.

We desperately need our home form to improve if we want a chance of regaining a position in League One.

Man of the Match for me was Matty Taylor after his consistency in his crosses down the left hand side.
