Adver Sport's OWEN HOULIHAN assesses the performances of Swindon Town's players in the 2-2 draw with Chesterfield

REICE CHARLES-COOK: Had very little to do in truth, although was alert as Chesterfield pushed in the second half. A spectator for McCourt’s stunner. 7.5

BEN PURKISS: Joined the attack where possible and linked nicely with Woolery and the midfield when he could. 7.5

MATT PRESTON: By and large managed the sporadic Chesterfield attacks with ease and will wonder how his side managed to concede twice. 7.5

OLLY LANCASHIRE: Solid as usual although was caught by the long ball for the Spireites’ equaliser. 7.5

MATTY TAYLOR: A couple of very decent set-piece deliveries and one rasping long-range shot, but the visitors had success down his side in the second period. 7

JAMES DUNNE: Dependable in the centre but did seem to go missing at times after the break as Chesterfield’s influence grew. 7

AMINE LINGANZI: Pulled up within a couple of minutes of the restart and was replaced by Goddard. 6.5

TIMI ELSNIK: Wonderfully taken goal and still probes away well but his influence did wane after the interval. 7.5

KAIYNE WOOLERY: Always willing and should have had a first half penalty after closing down Chesterfield goalkeeper Anyon and was largely out on his feet when replaced. 8

KESHI ANDERSON: A few bright moments as he pushed down the side of the defence but should have done better with a couple of crosses. 7.5

HARRY SMITH: An early header failed to trouble the keeper and deeply frustrated to have to exit the field for a nasty-looking head bump in the first half. 6.5

SUBSTITUTES

John Goddard (for Linganzi, 4): Almost an immediate impact with an early piledriver after such an early introduction and was at the heart of most of Town’s best moments. 8

Luke Norris (for Smith 28): Did the trick from the penalty spot in the dying throes of the contest and put himself about well on his return from injury. 7.5

Paul Mullin (for Woolery 66): Tried his best as always but failed to really get into the game after his introduction. 7

Not used: Henry, Robertson, Knoyle, Gordon.
