LUTON were denied top spot in Sky Bet League Two after Cheltenham goalkeeper Scott Flinders assisted a stoppage-time equaliser in a 2-2 draw at Whaddon Road.

The Hatters looked to be moving back to the summit following an 84th-minute goal from substitute Elliott Lee, but Robins defender Will Boyle salvaged a point for the hosts in the sixth minute of added time after Flinders flicked on a corner.

Nathan Jones' visitors opened the scoring through Dan Potts' early strike before Jamie Grimes claimed Cheltenham's first leveller with a scrambled finish.

In Saturday's other games, Alex MacDonald claimed an 84th-minute winner as Mansfield picked up a first victory in six by beating Coventry at the Ricoh Arena, while Thomas Verheydt cancelled out Christian Doidge's opener to earn Crawley a 1-1 draw against Forest Green.
