So, after a leave of absence last season, I can announce that the Predictions League is back.

Dust off your predicting skills, sharpen up on your opposition knowledge and get behind this bit of trivial fun.

We’ve had a few players leave, namely, Nicky Ajose going to Charlton Athletic and Michael Smith to Portsmouth.

Lawrence Vigouroux becomes a permanent signing between the sticks for Town with Tom Smith, Jake Evans and Jordan Young all coming into the first team squad from the youth team.

Let’s hope Luke Williams and the boys have a more fruitful season than last.

I can’t wait.

The Set Up

The Prediction League this season will be a little different.

As before, the main questions will be the same for each match, but when you post for the first time, you can set your answers as a default.

So if you forget to post your predictions for a certain match, your default set of answers will be used.

That way you will not miss out on the chance for some points. You can post a default set of predictions for the Home matches and a different set for the away games.

You will still be able to post your predictions on a match by match basis in the usual way.

There may be bonus question for each match and for each month, but I am trying to keep it simple this season.

Remember, this is all just a bit of fun. There are no prizes to be won, just the rivalries between friends and the built-in smugness when you score more points than your mates, other family members or work colleagues.

That’s all you need to know. The predictions are down to you.
