Here we go again. For second time of asking Swindon Town take on Bristol Rovers.
After that rain sodden day back in August when the game was abandoned after an hour of play, or just under, we now face the Gas under floodlights.
This rearranged tie becomes a mid-week fixture, which brings with it its own unique atmosphere.
Tuesday night footy at the County Ground, floodlights, local derby, what an atmosphere. Though there may not be much noise coming from the away fans.
Reportedly, only 300 or so tickets have been sold to Rovers fans, with many choosing to boycott the fixture due to being asked to pay again for the rematch. Home support could undoubtedly be affected for the same reason.
However, many fans will attend the game, this is a derby against a local rival that we have not faced for a few years. There will be passion, there will be noise, hopefully, there will be goals for Town and we can change our current run of fortune in the league.
