So were allowed to offload players , but cant sign new one's . Doesn't make sense ?
Di Canio, get the numbers ready on speed dial! Try and hijack the Green deal again!

.
The reason we can't sign players is our ownership and therefore, future is not clear - to avoid potential debt etc to other clubs or mucking about players futures they have said no to incomings until this is resolved
.
Selling is totally different and not sure why people can't see that!
.
If you have money trouble the bank won't let you borrow more - but no one will prevent you selling stuff to use that cash to pay off your debts
.
Oh look - the FL won't let us increase our wage bill - but are happy for us to sell / loan players out to reduce it
.
why - pretty **** obvious!!!!

Very interesting article on the Pox, especially given the recent surge of Pox on here over the last couple of weeks... * http://www.bbc.co.uk /sport/0/football/21 380551 * Oxford United chairman Ian Lenagan reveals massive losses
Good move for Cox, was never going to get a game here and we never saw the best of him. Hopefully can do well for Plymouth.

Notwithstanding, preventing a club not in administration from signing players during the transition of ownership seems ridiculous when Portsmouth, who have been in administration for over a year, are allowed to ship players in and out on an almost daily basis, which seems ludicrous what with their predicament. (Not having a go at Pompey - just using them as a case in point).

Takeover won't be completed until early next week. The F/L are happy with everything in pricipal but want a couple of small issues clarified.

If Administrators were't allowed to run the business on an ongoing basis - in football and in the wider world - there would be no point in Administration, the business would simply be wound up instead.

Seems strange that they can't do any sooner than Wednesday or is this FL rubbish in that it is the only free space in their busy calendars!?
....ah well we'll never know - let's just hope there aren't any last minute skeletons to find and that all is fine - Shame they didn't work as hard on some of the other more recent take-overs and kept the bad owners out

But for it to really mean anything, I think it needs to be put into some perpective. I think it should be judged on at least 15/20 games.
If a manager was in charge of just one game and won, he would then be top of the table.

With no MK game it won't matter too much about loanees not coming until next week as they will still have about a week prep time / get up to PdC fitness time
.
Takeover and new players could be more of a boost for Tranmere than Hartlepool anyway

It clearly states its looking at each managerial appointment so that is the criteria. I'm sure most people are intelligent enough to realise that if a manager has had 3 games then perhaps it's not not as great an achievement averaging the same as someone with 30. There is no prize for the winner, it is just based on data. It clearly shows Howe's spell at Burnley was not successful.

I can't see the point in these comparisons. To have any real meaning, they would need some sort of weighting to allow for the different circumstances in which managers work, and that would be almost impossible to measure. The fact that the same few clubs always occupy the top positions in the Premier League speaks volumes.

I also think it would be wise to get a better back up goalkeeper in before loan windows shuts just in case something happens to sir fod.
I see you can get 5's on us winning the league still which is pretty good.
bournemouth now odds on to win the league with the bookies
