RYAN Mason is set to be out of action for between two and four weeks with the ankle injury he sustained in the 4-0 defeat at Macclesfield on Saturday.

Mason, who was substituted late on in the clash at Moss Rose after twisting his ankle, underwent a scan on the problem area yesterday and the Advertiser has learnt that the midfielder faces as long as a month on the sidelines.

The 22-year-old has featured 12 times for the Robins since joining on loan from Tottenham in the summer, scoring four goals. He has already missed a month of the season with a thigh knock.
