TOWN vs CARLISLE: Douglas fit to start, no changes for Swindon

JONATHAN Douglas has shrugged off a tight hamstring to captain Swindon Town at Carlisle United in League One this afternoon.

Douglas skippers the Robins side, which is unchanged from the team that saw off Southampton in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in midweek.

Michael Rose travelled with the squad up to Cumbria, but failed to make the matchday 18.

TOWN (4-3-1-2): David Lucas; Kevin Amankwaah, Scott Cuhbert, Sean Morrison, Callum Kennedy; Simon Ferry, Jonathan Douglas, Michael Timlin; Jon-Paul McGovern; Vincent Pericard, Charlie Austin.

Substitutes: Phil Smith, Lecsinel Jean-Francois, Alan Sheehan, David Prutton, Alan O'Brien, David Ball, Thomas Dossevi

CARLISLE (4-3-1-2): Adam Collin; Frank Simek, Lubomir Michalik, James Chester, Sean McDaid; James Berrett, Paul Thirlwell, Tom Taiwo; Francois Zoko; Craig Curran, Gary Madine

Substitutes: Tony Caig, Peter Murphy, Tony Kane, Graham Kavanagh, Ben Marshall, Matty Robson, Jason Price.

Very happy.

Think Tomas coming off the bench after big V has smashed them up can only be a good thing.

good line up, would be silly to change it after tuesday. Glad he's left pericard in hopefully he'll be more confident and get another goal then bring on dossevi towards to end.

Just look at the strength of players on the sub's bench.
This does begin to look a strong squad these days, but it still is mystifying why we have incurred such poor League results so far.
Maybe to-day will be the turning point !

2 clean sheets from 2 tough away games in 5 days - that'll do for me after all the joke goals that we've been shipping over the last month.
Sounded like they had the bulk of the possession & corners etc, but we had the better chances, especially very late on.
I don't think that Southampton will exactly be in the best frame of mind next Saturday! Not saying it'll be easy, but we have reasons to be optimistic.
Well done lads - safe journey back everyone. Stop off for a mental night out in Blackpool & come home tomorrow, that's the way forward....
