FANS were given the chance to chat with Town boss Paolo Di Canio and his coaching staff on Monday night, when Italian restaurant Fratello’s held a meet and greet.
Di Canio, assistant boss Fabrizio Piccareta, fitness coach Claudio Donatelli and goalkeeper coach Domenico Doardo were all in attendance and all mingled with supporters for around three hours.
Prior to the event, fans were invited to suggest ingredients for a ‘Pizza Di Canio’ via Swindon Town’s Facebook page and official website, with the winner chosen by Di Canio himself.
New season ticket holder Alex Pearce’s suggestion of a pizza that included anchovies, capers and black olives won and will be available on the menu at Fratello’s.
“The whole night went really well and it was a good turn out,” said the restaurant’s co-owner Ricky Mazzotta. “Paolo was very approachable throughout and in the end he didn’t want to leave really.
“We will put the winning pizza on there and see how it goes.
“Hopefully it will get a few more Town fans down!”
