MICHAEL Timlin has joined Town's League Two rivals Southend on loan until January.
The midfielder, who signed a new two-year contract in the summer, has been out of the side since the opening day victory over Crewe.
The move again reunites him with his former Town boss Paul Sturrock, having had a spell on loan at Southend last season.
