  • "I see the FL have also rejected Artifical Pitches
    .
I remember NW saying they were waiting for this outcome before deciding on undersoil hearing - could we see this installed next summer?
    .
Also they voted in gamesmanship - so no diving etc
    .
What I want to see is this linked to respect and refs actually start to book players
    .
It annoys me sooo much when you see one player gobbing off at the ref and lino over every decision - when a yellow early on would have put a stop to it!
    .
Simple gob off and get warned - 2nd time yellow and if stupi enough to do it a 3rd time then red!"

Football League votes for seven subs

MEMBERS of the Football League have voted in favour of the reintroduction of seven substitutes from next season.

Managers of the 72 clubs were only allowed five options from the bench in 2011/12, but Derby and Birmingham's proposals to revert back to seven substitutes next term have been resoundingly backed by club chairmen at the Football League's annual conference in Portugal.
