SWINDON Town chairman Lee Power has revealed that he is in discussions with Southampton over the possible loan signing of Jack Stephens.

Stephens impressed during a temporary spell in Wiltshire last season and Power has confirmed that he has made contact with the centre-back's parent club over a potential return to the County Ground.

During the BBC Wiltshire fans' phone-in this evening, he said: "We are in conversations with Southampton about (Stephens). They're aware we really like the lad."
