Cheese and Chilli Festival

We are delighted to announce that the amazing Cheese and Chilli Festival is coming to Swindon in 2017 at Lydiard Park!

The event will again bring an amazing array of tastes, colours and experiences to town and is a ‘must go to event’. Come rain or shine, the event will be fantastic! The event in 2017 will see cheese and chillies from around the world brought to you along with amazing arts and craft stalls selling great and authentic products.

Whilst the event has an obvious focus on cheese and chilli, there will be something for everyone at the event and is a perfect family day out with FREE activities on offer for children and adults along with fun rides etc, treasure hunts, Falconry displays, magic shows, Punch & Judy etc.

If that wasn’t enough, there will be a fantastic Beer Festival all weekend from the local microbrewery, Downton Brewery! Plus this year we have Dorset Mobile Bar’s fantastic Inflatable Pub and bar serving a wide selection of cider, lager, wine, seasonal cocktails and soft drinks – so there will be something for all the family and you can cool your palate down in our pub garden!

To complement the party, with a dedicated stage area, live music from many local acts will be performed at the event. Please see our schedule for more details.

Dogs: Dogs are very welcome at the shows, all we ask is that they are kept on leads. There are some dog trade stands on site so they won’t feel left out.

Just as an appetiser, Mexicana Cheese will be at the shows offering samples of their amazing HOT Cheeses along with demonstrations on how to use their cheese with various other products. Come and check it out! Cheese and Chilli straight from the farm, you can’t beat it, but if you get Cheese and Chilli’d out, we have a number of craft and shopping stalls, so in between enjoying your cheese and chilli, you can do some shopping! There is also a great selection of fast food all keeping to the cheese and chilli theme so no need to bring the picnic!
