Come and have fun with St John Ambulance!

If your aged between 5-16 years old, why don't you try out the Stratton St Margaret youth division of St John Ambulance and join in the fun. We meet each tuesday evening during school terms between 1830 and 2045 at the St John Ambulance headquarters on Rodbourne Road. all you need to do is get involved and have fun with us.
The group is split into cadets and badgers depending on what age you or your child is!
There is plenty of activities to get involved in, too many to list, from first aid, sports and adventure weekends!

Family born into a life of slavery
Celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott was faced with an emotional dilemma in a recent episode of the genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are? Having traced one line of his ancestry to great-great-great grandmother, Catherine Smith, born into slavery in 1831, he then discovered a shocking piece of evidence. A different branch of his family tree led to great-great-grandfather James Gordon Harriott, white man and slave owner.
