USBC Youth visit Alton Towers

| Ultimate Event 08 |
Teenagers from Upper Stratton Baptist Church joined with about 100 young Christians and their friends, from churches across the town, to visit Alton Towers Theme Park on Saturday 10th May.
The trip was organised to coincide with a national event called the Ultimate Event - about 8000 teenagers from churches across the UK met to enjoy the thrills of this famous theme park.
The Ultimate Event is now in its 13th year and combines a day of fun at the theme park with an evening of Contemporary Christian Music and other entertainment. Christian rock band Delirious? headlined, with Sanctus Real, bandwithnoname and RPM featuring in a packed gig at the purpose-built arena. Other popular acts included Hoolio & Ad-Apt MC and DJ Combo, AKS Graffiti, Daniel Alexander and Football Freestylers.
Although a long day (leaving before 7am and returning in the early hours of Sunday), they all had a fantastic time and are already talking about going again next year!
