Wroughton Science Museum
ONE of the National Museums of Science and Industry, Wroughton is a place with a long past and a big future. The collections at the former World War II airfield illustrate human ingenuity in many forms.

Experience the invention, innovation, and creativity that have brought us agricultural machinery; transport; engineering and much more.

The Science Museum, Wroughton provides open access storage and a research facility for larger objects within the family of museums at this historic site outside Swindon.

It stores and conserves over 18,000 large objects such as aircraft, cars and tractors, fire-fighting appliances, industrial production machinery, large scientific instruments, machine tools, motorcycles, printing, and telecommunications.

It holds special events throughout the year and is also open during school holidays for guided tours and group visits.
