The Zutons tickets on sale on Friday February 22
The Zutons are making a welcome return to the west country this summer as part of the Forest tour.
The Scouser band are heading for the Westonbirt Arboretum in Tetbury on Friday June 20.
It will be part of their first UK tour in two years.
The band are currently in Los Angeles recording their third album at Sunset Sound Studios.
They are working with producer George Drakoulias who has worked with The Black Crowes, Primal Scream and Tom Petty.
The album follows on from the success of their multi platinum selling Who Killed The Zutons? and Tired Of Hanging Around. It will be released this spring.
The Zutons are also appearing at this year's Isle of Wight Festival.
The Zutons are: Boyan Choudhury on guitar, Dave McCabe, founder member and lead singer, Sean Payne on drums and Abi Harding on sax.
Boyan started out playing sitar but swiftly swapped the traditional Indian instrument for guitar when he heard his older sister's Frank Zappa album.
"My parents got religious so I had to nick my mate's guitar and play it when my dad was out.''
It was only when The Zutons shot into the limelight that Boyan's parents discovered the truth about their errant son.
"They weren't impressed,'' he said.
The band have played with a number of top names such as U2, Oasis, The Killers and REM.
Byan said: "Mike Mills from REM was a really nice fella. He was always in our dressingroom drinking red wine with us when we were on tour.''
Tickets to see The Zutons are on sale from tomorrow (Friday February 22) at £26, subject to booking fee from 01842 814612.
The forest tours are hosted by the Forestry Commission which aims to take woodlands to new audiences and gain revenue to plough back into the forests.
Paul Brady, the Ulster-born singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, will appear at Fairport's Tickets are also on sale for Cropredy Convention on Friday 8 August 2008 accompanied by his band. Enduringly popular, Paul has played with (among many others) The Johnstons, Planxty and Andy Irvine and he is widely considered one of Ireland's best interpreters of traditional songs.
