Welsh band the Storys have recently appeared in the blockbuster movie The Bank Job.
The group not only have a role performing in the film, they also have two songs included in the sound track and they sing the track, Money, over the closing credits.
Rob Thompson, singer and guitarist, said: "We went to the premier of the film, did the red carpet thing and also played at the after show party. "We look like a throw-back from the 1970s anyway.''
The musicians landed the part in the film through a chance encounter.
"We were playing at The Bedford Ballroom in London a year ago and this girl saw us. She was the one putting the music together for the film so she rang us up. Our music suits the era of the film,'' he said.
He admitted that it was the band's first experience on film except for the keyboard player, Alan Thomas, who was an extra on Doctor Who.
The Swansea band are on a roll at the moment as they also scooped a support slot with Elton John when he played their home town stadium.
"We have had loads of luck,'' said Rob. "Elton bought our CD and called our manager to get the lead singer's phone number. He rang us and said he liked out songs and would we like to tour with him.''
And the Cinderella tale goes on as The Storys have just released their new album, Town Beyond The Trees.
The CD was produced by Jon Kelly, who has worked with Kate Bush, The Beautiful South, Paul McCartney, Chris Rea and The Damned.
The Storys will be stopping off at Swindon's Arts Centre as part of their promotional album tour.
Rob said: "We have a batch of 10 good songs, West Coast harmonies and the type of music that everyone likes.''
The new album was recorded at Peter Gabriel's studio.
"It was incredible. we recorded our first album in an old cinema,'' said Rob.
BBC Radio 2 presenters Bob Harris and Johnny Walker have taken the band under their wing.
In fact when I spoke to Rob the guys had been at the BBC the day before.
"We played at the BBC yesterday just for the fun of it - in the BBC bar,'' he said.
