IT would appear to be really strange that the official findings of the results concerning the two black box flight recorders salvaged from the stricken Malaysian airliner MH17 and taken to Farnborough, Hampshire to be analysed, do not yet appear to have been officially released.

It would appear to be taking an extraordinary length of time for any official announcement by Farnborough air investigators to be made, as the cockpit black box voice recorder results should be available almost within a day of receiving them.

However the black box flight recorder data that relates to the final manoeuvres of the aircraft does take longer to assimilate.

What also seems to be rather strange is that the Kiev government claims to be in possession of the results already, which unsurprisingly points to the downing of MH17 by pro Russian Ukrainian rebel fighters.

It has also been stated by the US defence ministry that it has satellite imagery taken at the time that also shows the same results as those stated by the Kiev government.

However they have been asked on countless occasions by the Russian federation to release these official images, but have declined to do so, by stating this is secret and confidential information.

Surely the UN should be pressing the US defence ministry to release this information not least for the sake of the relatives that have lost loved ones on MH17?
