In reply to Sam James (Adver Sept 9 ) he is so right when he describes the evils of the bedroom tax.

The bedroom tax affects the poorest and weakest members of society.

All right thinking people should want to see an end to the misery and poverty it has caused to the British working class.

But it was Labour's policy of open borders to the European Union in 2004 that created the housing shortage.

David Cameron invented the bedroom tax to try to ease the housing shortage, but David Cameron has not tackled the root cause of the problem. The root cause of the housing shortage is our open borders with the EU.
