I am always the first to register a complaint but also as keen to acknowledge brilliant service. In November 2013 you ran a feature on cider which included a recipe for a cider cake with caramel frosting. As an avid baker I have baked this cake and it is a firm favourite of mine and my friends but then the page from the Adver went missing.

I thought it might have been my cleaner being ultra efficient. However, I still expect to come across it myself, having tidied it away prior to her arrival.

I dropped into the Adver reception area where a couple were being served by Tracy, who demonstrated excellent customer service skills with empathy, good listening skills and being very helpful.

Another lady was then served with the same high standards and then it was my turn. Tracy apologised for keeping me waiting. She phoned Michelle, the features editor, but she was on her lunch break and then said she would be able to search the Adver records on her PC. “Is this it?” she said, showing me the screen. It was and printed me a copy there and then. Altogether a brilliant service.

Customer service has improved in leaps and bounds, but the Adver certainly met the kite mark for me. Please keep up the features Michelle, they are probably more popular than you might realise.
