Re ‘At sixes and sevens’ of 9 October, Howard March states: ‘Sorry Steve Nibbs, I consider myself a Christian and yet I do not agree with your views that you claim are supported by scripture’.

What views are these, Howard March? Enlighten me with scripture as back up.

Again, ‘Unfortunately he betrays his ignorance of the scripture, he claims to be an expert by quoting a popular song instead’.

Howard March, please explain why you are writing such utter nonsense.

I have never claimed to be expert on scripture and as for the ‘popular song I quoted’ I have never quoted any popular song in this paper or any other! Where are you coming from? You are not making sense.

Finally he states I am suffering from a misconception regarding the animals boarding the Ark. He quotes, ‘Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens’. All this means Howard March is that ‘by sevens’ is simply meant seven pairs – females and males. The ‘two by two’ is only accurate for the unclean animals.

Those animals which were appropriate, however, ie the clean beasts, were taken in by sevens instead so that Noah and his family could eat (and sacrifice) during their stay on the Ark and afterwards.

Whose suffering from a ‘misconception’ now Howard March? You are prime material for a basic Alpha course.
