COUNCIL tax payers should make sure we follow the money now that Swindon Skips and Averies are to close.
This has the makings of another wi-fi if we’re not careful, or more like five or six wi-fis because the cost to the ordinary people is likely to be a lot more than the £400,000 squandered by Rod Bluh and his friends.
Once again the people who are supposed to be looking after public funds and spending it wisely are showing they’re not fit to be in charge of a kiddy’s piggy bank with a few coppers in it.
I wonder how many more services are going to be cut and how many more people are going to suffer to make up the extra cost of this latest example of somebody taking their eye off the ball.
