There has been increasing concern and anger regarding the Prime Minister’s seeming indifference to the warring factions within Ukraine, notably from the liberal fraternity – can they really be so naive?

Cameron, like so many of his predecessors, is reluctant to sneeze or perform any other function without a nod of approval from Washington, who themselves are sitting on the fence in this regard, belatedly becoming aware of how disastrous their international diplomacy and interference has been for decades.

The tragic events in Ukraine do indicate involvement by President Putin with claims of approval by his patriotic Russian people. Which is incredible, given that such a bitter conflict should arise between two neighbouring countries, who have so much in common and both having suffered so much together so intensely during WW2.

It must be terribly poignant for those of an age to recall such events – history yet again is ingloriously repeating itself.

But what of that esteemed institution, The United Nations (UN), whose prime function was to maintain international peace, which it has since its inauguration so often failed to do. It should be disbanded, like The League of Nations was for the same reason in 1939.

With ever increasing conflicts across the globe, it is indicative that of all the numerous species of animal life on this planet, humanity is alone hell bent on destroying itself.
