He states: “A quarter of a million houses need to be built every year in order to match the annual growth in demand.”

Has it not occurred that at this rate our countryside will soon be buried under concrete? What quality of life then for future generations?

Also we have to consider the retention of farmland for food security.

If this country’s population continues to increase at the current rate, the demand will never be satisfied.
