THERE’S still time to join charity Meningitis Now on an exhilarating and scenic adventure to climb eight Lake District peaks and help conquer meningitis. As an incentive to sign up, we’ve reduced the minimum pledge from £600 to just £480.

All proceeds go towards Meningitis Now’s work on vaccine and preventative research, raising awareness and supporting those fighting back from the disease. Meningitis is a devastating disease that can kill in hours and leave survivors struggling with life-changing disabilities.

The challenge, from June 4-7, takes on the eight peaks in the national park over 3,000 feet, including Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, in just two days of walking.

It’s not for the faint-hearted, but you will gain great satisfaction from completing the challenge whilst enjoying the beauty of the Lake District and helping us in our fight to beat meningitis. Registration costs just £75. Our events team takes care of all travel between the peaks, food and accommodation arrangements and is on hand to help with fundraising ideas and fitness tips.
