RE ‘YOUNG deserve better’ of April 20 from Anne Scott Ross, she writes, ‘I still sympathise with Mr Kazim because Muslim behaviour and morals are very different from what has become acceptable in Britain — violence, foul language, drunkenness, loose morals, and scantily clad women in public places are not attractive.’ Does the naive Ms Scott view Muslims as paragons of virtue? Muslims do not drink? Swear? Curse? Steal? Murder? Muslims knew what life was like before arriving here. If it is that bad, why remain?
In Saudi Arabia rich Muslims frequently cross borders and visit houses of ill-repute and drink alcohol. I think this is called hypocrisy in any language! And in the UK? Predatory Muslim sex gangs, forced marriages, ballet box fraud by Muslim community leaders, arson attacks on churches a few years ago. Two examples, the Full Gospel Mission Church, Lancs — the vicar who attempted to prevent the church catching alight was badly beaten by a Muslim gang. St Philip’s Church, Bradford — another arson attack.
Britain’s prisons currently cater for some 7,000 Muslim inmates. Not really so different from the rest of us sinners are they, Ms Ross?
