HAVING seen the latest proposed bus route changes, I want to know who makes these decisions and why.

My understanding is the bus service is a public service.

Therefore, why does it not meet the needs of the public?

How are people expected to get to the hospital from Covingham, Nythe, Coleview and Dorcan by bus if the number 20 is withdrawn?

Furthermore, the number 2 is changing to 1 or 1A and the services are changing to every 10 minutes around Nythe.

Why can’t this bus also service Coleview and Sainsbury’s as it used to?

This was stopped as, supposedly, not enough people used it.

Then why increase the frequency of the service to Nythe when very often there are only two or three people on the bus?

Is it because there is a secret agenda to stop the number of elderly folk who live in Coleview from using their bus passes?

Old folk go free, no good for bus company. Why does the transport of Swindon not give a service to all?

From a disgruntled pensioner and ex-passenger with a bus pass I cannot use.

Anyone want a bus pass? It’s no good as there’s no bus to go on. Sorry, three buses a day on Coleview.
