Cash for guide dogs
SWINDON Guide Dogs for the Blind held a collection at Tesco, Ocotal Way, Swindon on Friday, July 17 and through the generosity of the Tesco customers we raised £465.73p which will help to support one of our guide dog partnerships in the Swindon area for 93 days as it costs £5 a day to support a partnership.
The £5 pays for dog food and vets bills and comes to an annual cost of £36,500 just in our area alone.
Our thanks also go to the store manager Michelle Hobbs and all the staff at the store for their help and support.
