MRS P LAWTON has highlighted the very problem I was discussing with my 93-year-old father-in-law. He also wanted to go into the town centre with his friend and visit the Regent Circus development. Living in Haydon Wick there is no longer a service which allows this to happen.
The numbers13 & 14 should be diverted back along Commercial Road as it is way too far for the older generation to walk from the other end of town.
Also, I work near the library and would love to use the bus to get to and from work instead of my car but in wet weather I would be soaked walking from the nearest stop.
Come on Thamesdown, start thinking of your users or potential users.
I am sure there are many people working along Commercial Road and Regent Circus who could make full use of this service now.
