WHEN I was very young, many moons ago, the accepted attitude to the two main parties of Labour and Tory was Labour was for the working lower classes and Tory for the rich and higher classes.

Nothing has changed and all the political chat and double talk can’t conceal that fact.

The unions have always been the working man’s tool when taking on the government’s proposals.

The Tories go on about 50 per cent walk-out, limitations etc, but in the long run they would love to put the unions in their place or even crush their powers. Reference to the Nazi 1930s is spot on; this is what they did achieve.

But this is the British Isles, not Europe.

We are an island race and will never ever be Europeans. A tunnel does not make us European.

Already the double talk of Cameron is creating problems and they have only been in power five minutes.

Do not try to curb the union walkouts or disruptive action; it will only make a hill into a mountain.

Or would the Tories resort to the tactics of Churchill, when the miners refused to go down the pits.

Troops were brought in to enforce them. Will they force the Tube drivers to drive?
