THIS Labour leadership campaign has brought into sharp focus the broad church that is our movement. It is a leadership contest that will define our future but also give us the opportunity to redefine our journey and commit to core values that we hold dear.

Labour must become a social movement again and stand apart from those with a vested interest and powerful connections.

We must not forget that the Labour Party was founded to stand up to justice and inequality.

Many Swindon Labour and union activists believe Jeremy Corbyn is the candidate that can reinvigorate the movement and focus our direction with housing, health, jobs and welfare at the core of a caring society that leaves no one behind.

Jeremy Corbyn understands that austerity policies are harming people’s life chances and taking away opportunities.

He rejects the notion that we as a society must trample over people in a journey to prosperity.

He understands that you can’t build a fair economy by casting people aside, but instead we must invest and trust in people to reduce the debt through productivity and not austerity.

Jeremy Corbyn is committed to ensuring that ours is a movement to give people hope of a better world, with less injustice and more equality, peace and solidarity.

We are confident that together with Jeremy we can promote policies that will achieve these goals, winning more people over to these principles and giving them hope.

If that vision inspires you, like it inspires us, then join us to deliver it together.
