THERE is still time to brave the prestigious Bristol Half Marathon to help people living with cancer.
Penny Brohn Cancer Care is the official national charity for the race on Sunday, September 13. We want to recruit our biggest team ever, so invite 11th-hour entrants to snap up a £39 guaranteed place and raise £180 minimum sponsorship.
If you already have a place why not run for us and raise what you can?
The £180 would fund a person to attend our Living Well course, which shows how diet, exercise and lifestyle changes can help alongside medical treatment. We will fully support you, providing fundraising and training tips, and a free running vest or T-shirt.
Not-for-profit healthcare provider Nuffield Health is helping us to support our runners and recruit volunteer marshals. Anyone wishing to help on race day can contact me.
