IT WOULD appear that the deal in front of the British population does not match the promises made by David Cameron.
I have no doubt that passionate views from all sides will be put forward by readers.
For me the argument is not economic but is about democracy.
Essentially, what we have witnessed is an elected Prime Minister going cap in hand to an unelected official to ask permission to govern in a particular way.
Whether one agrees or disagrees with the mode of government, the fact of this situation is unacceptable.
