I WOULD like to put John Brownlee's mind at rest by saying that the Walcot Community Shop is moving into the library and will be running the library service alongside the shop.
It does not involve the Dome in any way, the activities there will not be affected.
What it does do is save the library for Walcot, keep a presence in Sussex Square with all of the facilities the library currently offers.
It will mean that when things calm down financially the infrastructure of the library will still be in Walcot which will not be the case elsewhere.
