I FEEL I must respond to the letter written by ex-councillor David Glahom (Thursday 2/9/10) with reference to cutting councillor numbers, specifically he mentions Penhill ward.
I wonder, would Mr Glaholm be so keen for this to happen if he was still a councillor for Penhill? It's doubtful.
To me it seems he is merely trying to put the cat amongst the pigeons hoping to cause a division between the two existing councillors on the Penhill estate. If not this, is it only to keep his profile alive in the public eye, saying things just for the effect he believes they will have?
