I FEEL honoured that the wonderful people of Central have voted for me to represent them for another term. Since being elected councillor of Central ward I have strived to gain the trust of local residents, through working with local community groups, standing up for local residents who have had problems with the borough council and through representing constituents at council meetings.

During my election campaign I pledged to: • Bring a primary school in Central ward within the next few years in order to ensure that school classrooms for Central’s young people are not over full.

• Fight to ensure that there are 20mph zones in all residential areas.

• Fight to prevent the removal of Whalebridge roundabout which will lead to rat runs in many roads in the Broadgreen area.

• Support the aims and objectives of local community groups in the Central ward.

I now also pledge to fight for the renovation of public spaces within the Railway Village.

These pledges will be my guiding plan as ward councillor for the residents of Central and I look forward to working with my local residents and fellow ward councillors in improving the communities within my ward.
