NATHAN Byrne bundling in Town’s winner at Port Vale was the second time in just four days that Mark Cooper’s side had comeback from a two-goal deficit, after the valuable draw in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Area Final at Peterborough last week.

That result put Town in with a real chance of playing at Wembley for the third time in five years, with the prize of a Wembley final and the chance to be a part of a side that lifts new silverware for Swindon Town at stake, the players need no more motivation.

Despite his own goal at Peterborough, Raphael Rossi Branco has stepped from the bench in recent weeks and performed well.

At times his lack of experience has been his downfall but, so far, he looks a good prospect.

After waiting along time to see him back in action, Troy Archibald-Henville has enjoyed a good start back in the Town line-up.

Discounting his dismissal against Oldham, he’s looked something like the player we thought we had signed from Exeter.

If he can stay fit, I’ve got no doubt he’ll become a key player and overtake Grant Hall and Branco in the centre-back pecking order.

Also this week Town signed young Norwich winger Jacob Murphy, with him and his twin being touted to have big futures in the game, it’ll be exciting to see what he can bring to the club, starting tonight.

Colchester at the County Ground tomorrow is a key game in our season.

After disappointing home performances against Shrewsbury and Oldham recently, Town has to find that energy and class that we’ve been witnessed already this season.
