DAN THE FAN: Who was hot and who was not this season?

Wes Foderingham – 8 (out of 10) ANOTHER superb season – and it would be a surprise if he was still at Town next season.

Nathan Thompson – 8 ONE of Town’s most consistent performers, he needs to be made full time captain next season.

Nathan Byrne - 6 AN inconsistent year for the fullback, looks lost at sea when defending, should just concentrate on being a winger.

Massimo Luongo – 7 AFTER a good first half of the season, the midfielder tailed off in the latter months of the campaign; hope he’s done enough to play in Brazil.

Grant Hall – 5 THE Spurs loanee formed a decent partnership with Darren Ward early on, but his inexperience cost Town points on more than one occasion.

Tijane Reis – 5 AFTER a decent first few games, the Portuguese winger struggled throughout thanks to a number of injuries.

Ryan Harley – 5 ON paper the experienced midfielder had everything needed to be a key player, but he fell short, not as bad as some fans made out.

Ryan Mason – 6 BLIGHTED by injuries, but when given the chance, showed natural talent.

Nile Ranger – 7 WHEN he was doing what he does best, he turned Town into promotion contenders, but his baggage was too much to carry.

Alex Pritchard – 9 TOWN'S most reliable player throughout the season, I expect to see him perform on a bigger stage next season.

Dany N’Guessan – 4 A shame Town can’t pay the big striker for just half the season, as he decided to give up around Christmas, won’t be missed.

Jay McEveley – 7 SINCE joining Swindon in early 2012, the defender has been inconsistent, but he enjoyed a successful 2014 in a Town shirt.

Yaser Kasim – 7 ONE of the clubs best free transfer deals in a number of years, the Iraqi International has proved vital in his defensive midfielder role.

Louis Thompson – 7 ANOTHER success story from Town’s youth set-up, finished the season in superb form, key for next season.

Miles Storey – 6 NOT given a fair opportunity in the first team, was sent out on loan when he was needed, a natural goalscorer, needs to be trusted.

Alex Smith – 5 DUE to a serious injury the former Fulham man never got his chance at SN1, I hope he finds a new club for next season.

Darren Ward – 6 AFTER playing nearly every game of the season until mid-March the centre-back run out of steam, can’t be first choice again next season.

Jack Barthram – 5 PROVED to be a decent back up, always played well when called upon, and deserves a new deal for next season.

Ty Belford – 6 WAS unfairly criticized by the fans, and the manager early on in his Town career, but showed signs of a decent keeper. 

Michael Smith – 6 ANOTHER player who has been a vent of frustration since his arrival at the club, despite this I predict he will play a huge part for Town next season.

Raphael Rossi Branco – 7 AFTER getting his debut out of the way, the Brazilian born defender turned out to be a useful backup squad member, deserves a new deal.

George Barker - 5 OUR signing from Brighton in January only enjoyed a handful of appearances this season, one for the future.

Ben Gladwin – 6 ENJOYED a decent first season in professional football. Big prospect.

Jack Stephens – 8 GENIUS loan signing from Southampton to replace the overplayed Darren Ward in March, made a huge impact, imperative he’s re-signed.

Troy Archibald-Henville – 8 MAJORITY of his season was ruined by injuries, but on his return formed a winning partnership with Stephens.
