The Swindon Public Sector Forum is holding a half day workshop to support local public sector organisations during a period of continuous transformation and change.

Facilitated by Georgina Collins, who is responsible for organisational development at Swindon Borough Council , the workshop focuses on the challenges and solutions common to all public sector employers in the town.

Georgina says of the event: “The intention of this workshop is to explore the shared themes and challenges we have identified as a group of organisations and the opportunity to share learning and joint development. This may lead to co-creating some development courses which we could either utilise in our organisations or deliver jointly, sharing resource and delegate space.”

David Latham of the Richmond Fellowship Wiltshire which manages the Forum: “This is wonderful opportunity for the public sector in Swindon to come together and find common solutions to the challenges they are facing in the current economic climate. This will be of benefit to both the organisations and the people they employ.”

Entitled “Exploring collaboration opportunities for Learning and Development” the workshop is open to representatives of local public sector employers and takes place at the Civic Offices on Thursday 19th May.
