Have you ever had one of those weeks that is nonstop rush, rush, rush? Well that is my life this week. My seventeen year old son had a birthday, hubby’s birthday today, the husky’s birthday, Father’s Day, Graduation party for my son on Saturday as he is graduating from secondary school for special needs and will be attending National Star College (Special Needs College) in September.

This week there are also dentist appointments, my doctor’s appointments and the car going into the shop. I am tired just thinking about all of this. Life is so hectic and I am ready to slow down for a nice holiday in the sun (wishful thinking), laying on the beach, no cooking, no cleaning, no arguing (with son and husky), no rain, and no worries. I just want a cabana boy waiting on me hand and foot (a good looking one with dark hair, tan and a 6 pack). A spa break would be great as I could use a massage and relaxation.

But, it’s back to reality for me as all of the money that has gone out this week leaves me a little (who am I kidding...a lot) short. I need a visit from the “Secret Millionaire” (hint, hint, nudge, nudge) or a money tree that could grow in my back garden. I could use my son’s door guard that is the grasshopper from “Ants” it has an alarm and shouts “Intruder alert, intruder alert”!

As you can easily see I am so distracted that I keep going off of the subject. But, isn’t that how life is? There are so many distractions, no time to slow down and relax.
