The Swindon Strategic Economic Partnership has put its weight behind the local Mindful Employer network which supports businesses on mental health and well-being issues.
The SSEP is responsible for developing and promoting the economic well-being of Swindon and is actively working with many of the town’s employers and business organisations. The Swindon Mindful Employer Network which was started in 2008 with funding from NHS Swindon has rapidly established as an important resource for local employers of all sizes and sectors.
Richmond Fellowship Wiltshire’s David Latham who manages the network is delighted by this news: “It is not everyday that the SSEP gives its support to local organisations – but we are thrilled that from now on our publicity material will include a logo from the Swindon Strategic Economic Partnership – a very high profile body which is positively influencing the lives of local people. This is wonderful news”.
Rikki Hunt, Chair of the SSEP adds: “The Swindon Mindful Employer Network has an important role to play in supporting businesses and their staff in the borough. I believe the town benefits from this initiative by promoting Swindon as a great place to live and work. We are pleased to support this activity moving forward”.
