It has been a busy couple of weeks for me as I have been putting alot of work into my Novel, catching up with family, friends and networking. Having a child home for summer holidays takes up most my time as he has disabilities and needs to know what is going on at all times. He gets bored quite quickly and I have to step in to fill in the gaps and encourage him.
The hard part about working from home is the constant interruptions. But, I also need to make sure that my family is not being neglected as well. My son and I are now taking keyboarding lessons from the instructor that used to teach my son at Rowdeford School. This is something that we can do together, since we both love music it is a nice change for me.
I am finding that taking keyboarding lessons is a great way of getting the creativity flowing. I am not thinking about my writing during lessons but, once they are finished for the day. I am more focused on what I am doing.
I would like to take the time to wish everyone a wonderful school holiday full of creativity and adventure.
