My name is Dan Johnson, I'm 24 and live in Calne, Wiltshire. I come from a family that has supported Town for many years but the first game I went to was in 1995 at home to Portsmouth and I have been hooked ever since.
Here I'll be sharing my opinion on everything Swindon Town. I've watched them constantly for years, and have seen so many great players wear a Town shirt like Fjortoft, Horlock, Taylor and Parkin and many more, and some not so great players, Thorpe, Brayley and Duke to name a few! But that’s what its all about, That's why we all love football, because you never know how its going to turn out especially at Swindon Town.
Tongue firmly in cheek, Paolo Di Canio shared two of his transfer targets within minutes of being unveiled this week. “We are close to signing Lionel Messi. Maybe Ronaldo.” he smiled

In the past whenever Town needs a new manager the rumour mill goes into overdrive like at any club, but I don’t remember a forthcoming appointment having this much excitement around it.
When looking back over the history of Swindon Town I’m certain people will just glaze over this season like it didn’t happen and hopefully it’ll be sandwiched between two successful seasons at the club.

The phrase ‘if its not broke, don’t fix it’ comes to mind when you think about David Prutton joining the club last summer, I know I couldn’t do Paul Hart’s job but he and Danny Wilson must see something in David Prutton that I don’t.

With only 11 games to go in the league Paul Hart has a tough job in saving Town from the drop into the basement division of football, but if you look at his record over the last few years he has done a great job in turning teams around.
