Life lesson number one - us girls have got to stick together

I was very proud of my youngest daughter (6) today. It may only seem a small thing, but to me it meant she had grasped an important life lesson at the tender age of 6 - we girls have got to stick together!

We were in a ladies public toilet at the time. She has now got the locking and unlocking of the toilet door down to a fine art and developed enough independence to go it alone, so we no longer have to cramp in and share one small cubicle (result!)

She was in one cubicle and I was next door, all of a sudden she shouted at the top of her voice "Hey does everybody have some toilet roll? If not I have some in here and can pass you some!"

Go Abbie! That's my girl!

Why do women take so long in the loo?
I had to wait outside the ladies in the outlet center for nearly half a hour (getting strang looks from passers by) when my daughters had to make a pit stop the last time we were there.

Perhaps John C your daughter was fulfilling the role of loo roll deliverer like my Abbie volunteered for :)

If not then toilet trip, hand wash, clothes check, do hair, refresh makeup and have a little chin wag with the other girlies :)

Grumps, The loo seat up is annoying, but it's the misfiring and loo cleaning that get to me!

Ems, how is the job hunting going hun? Are you still applying for ta positions?

I am having a lovely peaceful night :)The other half has gone out, the kids are in bed :) I have wine and ice-cream and have been planning out a list of all the places in the world that I want to visit one day :)

Becs I got an interview up the hospital for Admin assistant a week tomorrow so will have to wait and see the only thing I can see majorly letting me down is we're off on holiday in 4weeks for 2 weeks in the cyprus sun (if we every book it) so depends on how much they like me and if i have the right experience

Well I have six kids on summer holiday and all I have heard is "I'm hungry" "I'm Bored" "Please can I have" and "I need the loo!" For the entire break :) Back to school on Wed YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Ems Cyprus sounds lovely! It's on my list :) Good luck with the interview, let us know how you go :)
