1. Half term is named that because by the end of it most parents are half crazed.

2. Never buy a pretty bargain bra from Peacocks unless you want to be in complete agony.

3. Swimming with your children will tire you out, not them!

4. Kids will often have to be dragged out of bed on a school morning, but each morning of a school holiday week they will be up at the very crack of dawn.

5. Marks and Spencer sell very reasonably priced school uniform.

6. Being a Nan is an absolutely amazing experience.

7. Musical instruments, small children and cars don’t mix well!

8. “Why” is something which five year olds say at least two billion times a day!

9. Eleven year old boys ask lots of questions about sex.

10. Tom and Jerry is timeless.

To Berry Bassett, You are one strange dude. You visit and read my blogs regularly, you are not local and either tend to criticise or complain that they are boring! Why read? Puzzling indeed.

3. Parents do not like their kids chose in music.
4. My daughters learned very early how to get on my good side (tea & a cuddle).
5. My sons will give me a cuddle without an ulterior motive.
6. Parents need some grownup time.
7. We all need some Me Time.
8. There are not enough hours in the week (168 is too few).
9. I am overweight but I do not care.
10. I am getting old fast.

well Berry, I guess I could take a leaf out of your book, in which case I would be reading all the football news (which I am not interested in) and leaving comments saying boring, etc etc...I think all the footie fans out there would think i was kind of pathetic to do something like that dont you?

Each to their own, I say and I am sure you would agree, so yes it is a tad puzzling why you should read something you dont enjoy????

Ok Berry Bassett there really is no need to be so rude. I think we have obviously gotten off to a bad start. If I offended you with my remarks on the forum then please accept my apologies. As for believing myself to be above everyone else, really that is not the case. The only two things I am probably better at than yourself are putting my foot in it and shoe shopping (the fact that they are both foot related is mere coincidence.) I am glad that you read my blog, if only to get yourself to sleep, but please don't be rude to John and Old Crone as it is totally unwarranted. Finally,I hope you have the good grace to accept my apology which is sincere.

John C lol at not liking your kids taste in music. Callum is into rap ewww!

Still an oldcrone I for one value and look forward to reading your comments.
