Buckle up for a bumpy ride!
Kids love Roller Coasters and when you are a parent you go along for the ride. The ups and downs, the twists and turns, yep that is a pretty accurate description of parenthood and it seems to begin right from conception.

Banana in pyjamas
This week has seen schools across the country celebrating World Book Day. My children were invited to go into school in their pyjamas and cosy up for a story telling session.

Would you allow your nine-year-old daughter to wear a padded bra? Or how about a nice pair of jogging bottoms designed with an added piece of material, so it looks like she has her underwear hanging out of her joggers?

Shag Bands - a dangerous game or a harmless craze?
This morning at breakfast time, my eleven year old son came down the stairs with two coloured bands around his wrist. A harmless fashion accessory? The Latest kiddie phase? I asked him what the bands were and he replied without missing a beat, “Oh they are shag bands.”

1. Never buy little boys school shoes with tiny groves on the bottom because any potential toilet disaster will be extremely unpleasant to clean up!
